Linda Caiger, RN, BSN, IBCLC, CCE
Linda Caiger is a Lactation Consultant with keen interest in breastfeeding education and practice. She began her career as a home birth midwife over thirty years ago and has since worked with a few hundred women through their pregnancies providing prenatal care, education, and support. During the period, she also taught childbirth classes (The Bradley Method) after being trained and certified by the American Academy of Husband-Coached Childbirth.
Linda Caiger had further training and taught for 15 years in childbirth methods of the International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA).
Linda Caiger qualified as a Registered Nurse (RN) and spent a year in a labor and delivery unit in Los Angeles. She worked in the Dept. of Health’s Infants and Toddlers Program (ITP) and was the Family Support Nurse focusing on infant feeding; specifically, pre-mature babies who had a minimum of a 25% developmental delay. While serving in the ITP, she fulfilled the requirements to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
